My Maintenance Logbook
$1.00
I created this product to help groomers stay organized. More often than not, if a clipper stops clipping or a blade stops cutting, groomers are unable to tell me when the tools were last serviced. For instance, if your clipper is two years old, has never had maintenance, and suddenly no blades work, I am going to know you are overdue for a hinge and a new lever/blade drive. (Just ask Markie James! She was going to throw away a perfectly good $425 clipper that just needed $25 worth of care.) This logbook will not only help you keep up with maintenance and sharpening; it will help you see which tools do not hold up as long. If used properly, this book can even get you free repairs and exchanges! More often than not, groomers are unaware of the warranty repair options available to them. If you do your part keeping up with the log and receipts, I will always help you see if a free warranty repair may be available so you do not have to pay me for a repair. Grooming expenses can really add up. This book will help you track expenses, keep up with vendors, and maintain documents for warranty purposes. For this month, the book will be free. Please provide feedback and let me know how to improve this product to better suit your needs. There are multiple pages in this book, and I encourage you to print duplicates of each logsheet and the clipper data sheet if you have more than one clipper. Pair this print out with a zippered pencil pouch in a binder, and use the pouch to store vendors’ business cards and your receipts. If receipts are unavailable, have the vendor/sharpener sign off on the log for your documentation.
